We collect and process only the minimum data necessary to deliver our services:
- Account & License Data: Full name, email address, company/academy name, and assigned license key for software activation and update verification.
- Payment & Billing Data: Transaction metadata (billing name, tax ID, transaction ID). Financial card details are securely handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and never touch or reside on our servers.
- Technical & Usage Logs: IP address (anonymized), browser type, and diagnostic information collected strictly for security, rate-limiting, and error prevention.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases pursuant to Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Contract Performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): To issue licenses, deliver plugin updates, generate tax receipts, and provide technical customer support.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To maintain website security, prevent fraudulent transactions, and ensure server stability.
- Explicit Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): For optional statistical performance measurement (Google Analytics) via our native cookie consent banner.
4. The WSMaker Architecture & Data Sovereignty
When you install the WSMaker WordPress plugin on your own website, all your student records, workshop attendees, CRM notes, and ticket balances remain exclusively stored inside your own WordPress database.
WSMaker does not transmit, harvest, or monetize your attendees’ personal data. You maintain 100% data sovereignty as the independent Data Controller for your students.
5. Third-Party Service Processors
We work exclusively with GDPR-compliant service providers:
- Stripe Payments Inc.: Secure payment processing and SCA compliance.
- Google Analytics 4: Statistical insights with IP anonymization, activated only upon explicit cookie consent.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
Under the EU GDPR (Articles 15-22), you have the right to:

- Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete records.
